Licensing Training

Level 2 Award for Personal Licence Holders

This training is a requirement of anyone wishing to hold a personal licence enabling the sale or authorisation to sell alcohol. If you want to run a pub or perhaps you’re working in F&B in a hotel you’ll need this qualification to apply for a personal licence.

Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH)

Holding a personal licence in any country is a legal requirement and Scotland is no different. If you want to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol in Scotland then you must have this qualification.

Scottish Training for Alcohol Retailers and Servers (STARS)

Scottish licensing law makes it a must for all staff members who sell or serve alcohol in Scotland to complete two hours of mandatory training. This is where Scottish Training for Alcohol Retailers and Servers (STARS) comes in.
