The Level 1 Award in Food Safety is a great course for anyone working in a low-risk environments. When you think that water, tea, coffee and ice are all classed as foodstuffs does everyone need the Level 2 Award in Food Safety the simple answer is no.

Is there an exam?

A multiple-choice paper is completed at the end of the training or

e-learning. 

Environmental Health Officers will usually want to see this course completed every three years.

How is this course delivered?

The course is delivered by e-learning or in-house.

How long does the training take?

The e-learning usually takes 2-3 hours. At the end of the course a pdf certificate will be available. If the training is completed in-house a certificate will be emailed on successfully passing the course.

If you have a group of six or more an in-house course delivered at your premises may be more convenient and cost effective.
