Who’s it for?

This course is for anyone working in the preparation or service of food and is a great introduction to allergens. With legislation changes coming in to force in October 2021 it’s going to be vitally important that everyone understands allergens.

Allergens and intolerances are an increasing risk to health. This course aims to equip anyone working in food manufacturing and catering with a broad understanding of the requirements that will become law in October 2021.

The course is supported by Allergy UK and any business wishing to apply for their Allergy Aware Scheme will need to demonstrate commitment through training.

Chefs, cooks, baristas, food services, food retail, frontline manufacturing and nursery staff put simply if you touch food you’ll want to have an understanding of allergens.
