Allergens and intolerances are an increasing risk to health. This course aims to equip anyone working in food manufacturing and catering with a broad understanding of the requirements that will become law in October 2021.
The course is supported by Allergy UK and any business wishing to apply for their Allergy Aware Scheme will need to demonstrate commitment through training.
Chefs, cooks, baristas, food services, food retail, frontline manufacturing and nursery staff put simply if you touch food you’ll want to have an understanding of allergens.
The course will provide you will the knowledge to identify food allergens in recipes and how to communicate effectively will customers who have allergies to foodstuffs.
At the end of the training session there is a short multiple-choice question paper. On successful completion you will receive the accredited qualification.
