Do I have to have one?
Yes is the simple answer. You’ll also need to be able to produce the fire risk assessment to a fire officer if you have an inspection.
Failure to have a fire risk assessment in place that is suitable and sufficient for your business could lead to a fine or even time in prison not to mention the possible loss of your insurance.
